Works amazingly well. And its free too. Shutup and take my money this is worth paying for.

I found this app and assumed it was going to cost something or be ridiculously difficult to use. Instead, I walked around the perimiter of the various rooms in my apartment and after 10 minutes it generated a detailed heatmap and triangulated my access points very precisely. It was pretty intuitive I didnt even need to read the manual. Kudos to the developers for making such an easy to use and very useful application!

I used this app to ensure I am getting complete coverage with the new base stations I deployed throughout the house. I drew up the floor plan then walked around taking samples. Everything worked great!

Downloaded a Google map and used that for my purposes. Able to find out who some of the various owners of connections around my home are by testing signal strength from various points and triangulating, which was a fun side benefit. Sweet app, thanks!

NetSpot helped me see that the WiFi channel I was using was getting too much conflict from neighboring routers in other appartments, and made it obvious which ones were still open. Even better, its free and not ugly. Whats not to like?

This is great If you want to find the routers of a new building. It takes awhile to set up the net and get a reading though. Just sit next to the router when you locate it and you should be fine.

I used this to compare different access points and it actually told me exactly the range of each ap and where in my house I was receiving interference. Best app Ive seen and it was free. Id pay for this app.

We had a few rouge devices in our building. I easily added a PDF of a floor plan and within minutes I had a general area of all our access points. I took 30 total data points and it narrowed down the broadcasting device that we were looking for down to the exact cubicle. I plan on scanning in the floor plans for our house and plot it out now to see exactly where my wifi reaches and how to extend it to reach the dead spots in the house.

I had problems with flakey connections to a range extender. This helped me map out alternate locations and improve the performance of my network. And seriously, for the price? Completely awesome software.

It does just what it claims to do, easy to draw floor plans, very simple to use and it is pretty accurate! Thank you Devs!

Does what iss name say. Simple to setup, simple to use, visual representation of the results. Would not use anything else.

I love it! With a few modifications it could be used like a gps (measuring signal strength and estimating distance based on previous measurements), even detecting other (potentially lost) devices to find your other computers! If this is added I would be willing to pay $10+ for it, please add this!

First, I cannot believe this is free. Second, if you are searching for this type of application, this is the one you need to download. Third, its free?! Fourth, I happened to have the floorplan to my house which made the setup much easier, but the tool to draw your own floorplan is remarkably easy to use as well. Fifth, get it.

I would have a better chance with a frequency scope, then i would with this. Frist off, you spend more time drawing, then you do with any thing else.

If your WiFi is configured to not broadcast the SSID, then you have to upgrade to the Pro edition : ( Other than that, simple to use and useful, just not for me.

Very powerful. Uploaded a diagram of our office space that came with our lease and walked around the office. Instantly revealed the deadspots in our wifi coverage and the 50 other access points coming from the other tenants and nearby buildings. 2.4 and 5 Mhz detected and every access point was listed with its SSID, signal strength and channel in a nice report. Tweaking the sensitivity after taking the readings allows you to customize the contrast of the image. Awesome diagnostic tool. Wish Apple would allow products like this (and wifi stumbler apps) for the iPhone and iPad again.

My house is big and needed a tool to help me out positioning my airport express stations, and this amazing app helped me with that. I will definitely bring my macbook with this application to my office to make further adjustments.
